Phil Green (second from right) was presented with the Excellence in Education Award at the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL)’s Student Technology Showcase on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The event took place at Heritage Hall within Lansing’s state Capitol building.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive this award,” Green said. “I will continue fighting in the Legislature for more connectivity for communities across our state, especially in rural areas like ones I represent in Lansing. Technology is crucial for helping to educate our future generations and preparing them for careers in a number of industries.”
MACUL promotes the advancement of technology in education and equitable use for students throughout the state. It also connects educational professionals as they infuse more technological tools into their classrooms.
