State Rep. Tom Kunse on Thursday was appointed to serve as Vice-Chair on the House Communications and Technology Committee and as a member of the Agriculture, Education and Work Force, and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees.
“I’m really looking forward to digging into the issues that matter most to regular people throughout our state,” said Kunse, R-Clare. “What’s more important than the farmers growing our food, the roads we drive on, the schools our kids attend, or the technology we all use each and every day?”
Kunse, who worked as the owner of specialized transportation company for over 30 years, said he’s hopeful policymakers can set partisan bickering aside so they can all focus on the best interest of workers, families, and people all over Michigan.
The second-term lawmaker was first elected to the 100th House District in 2022. His district includes Mecosta, Osceola, and parts of Lake, and Clare counties.
