PHOTO INFORMATION: Rep. Nancy DeBoer (R-Holland) welcomed Park Township Fire Chief Scott Gamby to the Michigan State Capitol for the annual House of Representatives 9-11 Memorial Ceremony on Thursday.

Legislators invited first responders and members of the military from their communities to be their guests for the service. In addition to marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, the annual ceremony honors Michigan’s first responders, public safety officers and military members and remembers the heroes who have died honorably in the line of duty in the past year.
