Rep. Allor to host second tele-town hall addressing upcoming school year and COVID-19
RELEASE|July 28, 2020

State Rep. Sue Allor, of Wolverine, will host a second tele-town hall to discuss the upcoming school year and planning for the safety of Northern Michigan students Thursday, July 30 at 6 p.m.

“It’s important to keep the conversation going about what schools will look like this fall,” Allor said. “We will discuss concerns brought to me by those I represent, an overview of some of the plans for getting our students back to school safely this fall, and empowering local school districts and health departments to work together to develop health and safety standards based on geographical boundaries. How schools reopen in metro Detroit will likely look quite different from how they reopen in northern Michigan.”

This event will give those who were not able to make the previous tele-town hall on the same topic another opportunity. Anyone residing in the 106th House District wishing to join the tele-town hall may call toll-free at (855)-756-7520 and enter 64542# when prompted.

For more information, please contact Rep. Allor’s office by email at [email protected] or by calling (517) 373-0833.
