“The court’s partisan decision has sent Michigan’s restaurants and bars into a tailspin. Many servers and bartenders will see their income drop, and others will even lose their jobs.”

“Kids struggle to read and drivers can’t navigate pothole-riddled roads, but at least casino-goers in Detroit’s Greektown will have taxpayer-funded Wi-Fi.”

“Many of my fellow veterans endure post-traumatic stress and other mental health struggles, and they deserve real support to help them fight their personal battles,” Beeler said. “They need a community that wraps its arms around them.”

“Michigan’s budget should reflect the priorities of the people of our state, who rightfully expect efficient, essential services for the taxes they pay,” said Beeler, R-Port Huron.

“This Tax Day, Michiganders are receiving larger refunds or sending smaller checks to the state government thanks to an income tax cut that Republicans secured for every Michigan taxpayer. Enjoy it while it lasts.”

“Gov. Whitmer’s latest national campaign speech tonight completely ignored the fact that Michigan is crashing and burning under her administration.”

“Banks and other financial institutions are supposed to be in the business of finance — not discrimination,” Beeler said.

“The budget process is out of control. We are spending more and more money and are giving people less and less transparency. This is exactly why people do not trust government,” said Beeler, R-Port Huron.

“The expensive, extreme, and irresponsible energy standards these bills impose are wrong for Michigan residents,” said Beeler, R-Port Huron.

“Gov. Whitmer handed out $1.7 billion dollars for the Marshall project because she was embarrassed for losing out on other Ford plants, and then her allies smeared local citizens who disagreed with her,” Beeler said. “Now, with Democrats’ anti-business, anti-worker agenda coming down the pike, Ford is slamming on the brakes.”
